Underdog gets a call to guard a sword collection en route from one museum to another. When Riff Raff attempts to steal the collection, Underdog saves the day but he's stricken with a terrible pain in his back. At the hospital Underdog explains that he's in pain when he bends over and doctors from all over examine him. In the meantime, Riff Raff steals the sword collection.

On the planet Zot, King Klobber is busy looking for a suitable beau for his daughter to marry. Underdog is located and a ship is sent to bring him back to Zot. Underdog refuses to marry the princess of Zot so the King sends his strongest men and the army, all who are defeated by Underdog. The King will not give up...

While Underdog is away, Polly goes to investigate why food crops were disappearing all over the world. She falls into a deep cavern and is made prisoner by the Molemen who are trying to starve the people of the earth. 2- Underdog comes to the rescue only to be confronted by the Molehole gun. It weakens him so much that he is captured and thrown in with Polly.

Underdog frees Polly, but she faints before warning him about the Valentine machine. Underdog charges in but is crushed flat and turned into to a paper valentine. Then Simon tells his gang to load the machine in to a truck so they can turn the Mayor into a paper valentine. Polly finds one of Underdog's energy pills in his ring and when she give it to him he breaks out of the Valentine, frees her and they fly to City Hall. Underdog saves the mayor and lets Polly turn Simon and his side-kick into Valentines.

Simon Bar Sinister invents the Valentine Vault which turns people into paper valentines. He orders gang to kidnap Polly so he can catch Underdog in the machine. Shoeshine Boy sees Simon's gang capture Polly. He waits in line for the phone booth while Polly is told of the Valentine Vault, handcuffed to a pole and gagged.

Simon Bar Sinister has a fiendish plan for capturing the entire city thanks to two special buttons he installed across main street. Simon is about to push the two buttons but as he begins to cross the street the Thanksgiving Parade blocks him. He uses his "Time Bomb" to go back in time and do away with Thanksgiving.

Simon Bar Sinister creates the Go-Snow Gun which freezes people. Simon uses the gun to take over the First National Bank, holding the bank patrons prisoner. Simon Bar Sinister uses his new weapon to freeze Polly and holds her captive in the bank along with the others.
