Nine month old Jane has become the center of new parents Michael and Hope's universe. And that's a satisfactory way of life until Janey's erratic sleeping and eating habits totally disrupt the household. It's then that Michael and Hope's sex life comes to a grinding halt and they find themselves quite overwhelmed by the responsibilities of parenthood. Michael's cousin, Melissa, and best friend, Gary, try to coax the couple out of the house for a camping trip. But first, Hope must find a babysitter to whom she is willing to entrust Jane. Will anyone measure up? Michael is in for some soul-searching of his own when his business partner and friend, Elliot, confides that he has had an extramarital affair. Elliot knows that his wife hasn't a clue that he was unfaithful, but the guilt is nonetheless killing him.
