Nick investigates and discovers that the dead woman was an accountant for Kelly Gordon's father, the man who abducted Nick.

The police are alerted to the crime by a mysterious call from a phone booth. The investigation reveals that the victim had a large online gambling debt and was recently threatened by the web site's owner. The CSIs also learn that the dead man was engaged to be married.

Later, Nick is visited by Kelly Gordon, the daughter of the man who abducted Nick and buried him alive.

The investigation leads Grissom and Catherine into the world of competitive eating. Across town, Nick and Sara probe the deaths of a husband and wife on the verge of divorce who were apparently attacked by a vicious dog. A golden retriever is found at the scene, but he hardly seems like a killer.

Back at the lab, Grissom is summoned by Ecklie to refute the testimony of an expert entomologist in a murder trial in order to prevent a killer from going free.

She thinks Nick is getting too emotionally involved because of his recent near-death experience.

Believing the body was dragged to the yard, Gil and Catherine follow drag marks and a dozen sets of footprints into the desert, where they find the bunker.

Across town, Grissom and Catherine work a triple homicide that involves two Laotian men and a taxi driver. One of the men and the cabbie are found shot to death outside of an apartment building. The other man is found dead in his car, an apparent accident victim, but the evidence points to murder.

Outside of town, a body is discovered in the middle of what appears to be a crop circle, with no footprints leading into or out of it. Back at the lab, Ecklie is forced to go into the field and process a crime scene because all of his CSIs are out investigating cases. It goes well until the victim's body goes missing from the morgue.

CBS is moving the sitcom from its longtime Monday home to Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c, following Chuck Lorre's other hit comedy The Big Bang Theory.

Taking Men's place on Mondays at 9/8c is 2 Broke Girls, which will be preceded by new comedy Partners.

Fall TV scorecard: Which shows are returning? Which aren't?

The Mentalist is also on the move, shifting into the Sundays-at-10 slot ...

On a thoroughly charming Parks and Recreation finale, eternal idealist Leslie Knope achieves her lifelong dream of being voted into office — and Amy Poehler captures every nail-biting emotion, from overwhelmed pride at casting a vote for herself to premature despair, an ultimately genuine joy and gratitude to all the friends who made this possible. Her opponent Bobby Newport isn't the only one who's relieved — and geez, show, Paul Rudd is such an adorable boob (the way he stares at a boom mike like it's a chew toy), can't he stick around as a mascot or something? Pawnee City Council may not be Washington, D.C.
