Mega Buzz on Housewives, Terminator, The Closer & More!

I'd love it if you could give a "hint" as to whom on Wisteria Lane Desperate Housewives' Dave Williams has a vendetta against? - Barbara
Matt: Hint, coincidence or sloppy character-naming? You decide. George-the-nutty-pharmacist's last name was Williams.

I need scoop about what is going on with Cameron on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Sookie on True Blood. - Sarah
Matt: Tackling Terminator first, are you ready for some girl-on-girl action? Because the Oct. 20 episode finds Cameron slugging it out with another fierce fembot - all within the confines of an elevator. I need a cigarette already.
Mickey: I'm going to give you a non-spoiler spoiler about True Blood. I accidentally found out who the serial killer is the other day, and it kind of broke my heart. (Hint: It's one of the "good" guys.)

Have anything juicy on Gossip Girl? - Kate
Mickey: Remember how Nate and his mom helped The Captain escape prosecution? Well, I'm hearing that Mr. Archibald (Sam Robards) will reward their loyalty by… double-crossing them! Which is pretty crummy considering Nate almost became a manwhore to fix the family's money problems. Thanks, Dad!

"Time Bomb"

This week on The Closer, as Brenda struggled to get a handle on her new "Major Crimes Division," the squad found themselves on the trail of — and ultimately the "business end" of — a group of bombers/gun men. Did everyone escape unscathed? Or did the team suffer its first major casualty? Read on for all the details. What's the saying — be careful what you wish for? Granted, I never wished that a PHD member lose their life this season. I merely have been positing that, being in the line of work they are, it should be just a matter of time until....Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves. This week's case traversed all manner of moods, starting off with a "lighter" tone as Tao practically swooned over "Babs" the bomb-sniffing robot. That was followed by a small chuckle when a police tape-crossing Brenda popped up on Babs' camera. But then came the first uncovered pipe bomb and subsequent explosion. Things immediately got serious. As Brenda zeroed in on the "crazy kids" i...

Closing the Book on The Closer & Weeds

Feel that change of seasons? Hard not to notice on this Monday night, as two of cable's best summer series- TNT's popular signature drama The Closer and Showtime's quirky classic Weeds- sign off with life-or-death cliffhangers, a week before the official network season gets underway. ( The Closer's story will pick up again in the new year, with five episodes remaining in this split season.)
