Dick surprises Mary at the library; he's come with a Champagne picnic in hopes of winning her back. They talk briefly, and she assures him it's over between them, but as they start to leave they realize that they're locked in. It's Friday night, and Mary is concerned because she's having a Tupperware party the next day. But Dick breaks out the Champagne, and things begin to get a bit more mellow; they wake up the next morning unsure whether or not they had sex the night before. The aliens, having gone to Mary's house in search of Dick, have spent the night there watching pay-per-view (in spite of having been ordered to leave by Officer Don who caught them snooping around). Dick and Mary are still locked in the library reminiscing about their relationship as the party guests begin arriving at Mary's. The other aliens feel betrayed when they learn that Tommy's been hiding the fact that he's an accomplished chef. Harry gets a transmission from the Big Giant Head that the aliens' status report is long overdue. Dick says he has more pressing things to deal with: this weekend is his and Mary's anniversary. Vicki Dubcek arrives and announces to Harry that she's come back to him; she's just broken up with her boyfriend Randy, a man with an extremely violent temper. When Dick invites Mary to a dinner party at his apartment, she assumes it's to celebrate the end of the school year. Sally has a hot date with Don and tells Dick she's just about to lose her virginity. Dick tells her about the romantic dinner he's having for Mary, and invites her and Don to join them. Harry and Vicki will also be guests, and Tommy will do the cooking. August finds out that Tommy is a gifted cook, and he immediately enlists her as his assistant. Harry finds an old wheelchair in Mrs. Dubcek's garage, and, while playing with it, Dick rolls down a flight of stairs and breaks his foot. Harry's thrilled that Mrs. Dubcek's daughter Vicki is back but horrified when she tells him she's practicing celibacy. Dick, confined to a wheelchair, is angry that the access ramp to his building at Pendleton is in an inconvenient location. Encouraged by his physics class, Dick decides to fight for an additional ramp. Officer Don gets a job as a doorman/bouncer at the Sin Drome, a local club, and revels in his newly acquired power. Because he's under age, Tommy's barred from the Sin Drome by Officer Don, so he goes in search of a fake ID. Dr. Albright observes that Dick's crusade for another ramp is particularly foolhardy, because he'll be healed in a few weeks and won't need it.
