In this bright and breezy musical comedy, New York brother and sister dance team Tom and Ellen Bowen (Fred Astaire, Jane Powell) are booked by their agent Irving Klinger (Keenan Wynn) to perform in London during the time of the Royal Wedding in 1947. En route to England, capricious heartbreaker Ellen meets her match in dashing Lord John Brindale (Peter Lawford), and upon their arrival in London, confirmed bachelor Tom meets the captivating Anne Ashmond (Sarah Churchill) while holding dance auditions. Will true romance finally break up the siblings' act?
