This film is an expanded version of an episode from "The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters," a television series about a wagon train in 1849 told from a youngster's point of view. Bronson and Russell are up against some bad guys who run the town to which the pair have gone for supplies. Bronson runs into an old girl friend, Oliver, who is now married to his enemy Merlin.
