Leo Huff's life is straightforward and straight-laced: he's a reserved and timid secretary, married for 22 years, and living in the same house in the suburbs. His company is promoting a project to put a big water park at Bic, a beautiful slice of paradise on the lower St-Laurence near Rimouski. When the opportunity arises to represent the development project at a public consultation, and none of the actual engineers are available, Leo is sent along, nervous but excited. Arriving in the small town, Leo meets damsel in distress Lou, falls in love, and decides to help her at all costs. And what costs!
