Unfunny slapstick and lowbrow humor abounds in this weak comedy featuring Saturday Night Live alumni Chris Farley and David Spade. Handsome, smooth-talking Al Donnelly has everything going for him. A politician, he is engaged in a heated gubernatorial race with the feisty Governor Tracy, a tough old bird who doesn't hesitate to play hardball with opponents. Unfortunately for her, things are looking good for Donnelly. Fortunately she finds his Achilles Heel with his young brother Mike Donnelly, a fat slob gym teacher and hopeless imbecile who only wants to win his more successful sibling's respect. Unfortunately all he does is embarrass poor Al to death. In desperation, Al assigns the sardonic and prissy Steve Dodds to keep Mike under constant surveillance. Upon returning to the farm following a 15-year absence, Henry discovers that his brother Angus has been performing genetic experiments on the sheep. When a pair of inept environmental activitists release a mutant lamb from Angus' laboratory onto the farm, thousands of sheep are turned into bloodthirsty predators. Forced to face his worst fear, Henry must find the farmer within to wrest control of the farm from his monstrous brother, defeat an ovine invasion and save New Zealand's pastures green. This indie cult favorite from IFC features special effects created by Weta Workshops, the same crew who did the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
