The probe reveals that the victim may have known her killer. Back at headquarters, a man from Lilly's past shows up and wants to rekindle their relationship.

Soon afterwards, all of the evidence collected at the scene disappears. It was in Nick's truck, which is stolen while he's eating at a nearby diner.
