The trailer for Across the Pacific. Rick is an ex-American army officer who has been dishonorably discharged. However, his supposed disgrace has in fact been arranged by the US government, to allow Rick to investigate prewar espionage. While on board a Japanese ship bound for the Panama canal, Rick meets a pro-Japanese Brit, a fashion designer with a secret, and a Japanese martial arts expert who may not be all that he seems. Rick must discover who is behind a plot involving the Panama canal.

Although Rick professes to be neutral in all matters, it is later revealed that he had run guns to Ethiopia to combat the 1935 Italian invasion, and fought on the Republican side in the Spanish Civil War against Francisco Franco's fascists.
