When they reach the location, they discover that one soldier is dead. Back at the base, news of the man's death reaches his fiancée, who is like a mother to his two daughters. Unfortunately, she isn't their legal guardian, and the Army intends to turn the girls over to their estranged grandparents.

Back at the base, Molly needs money to put her ailing mother in a nursing home and reluctantly agrees to recruit a soldier away from the military for a private firm that pays big money for referrals.

Back at home, Jonas learns that Molly lost their savings and confronts her about it, and Tiffy considers divorcing Mack after she reads a letter indicating that he has re-enlisted. Also, Kim learns some disturbing news about a fellow Unit member's wife.
