Tue Dec 15 02:00 PM TNT Lilly investigates the 1996 murder of a wealthy divorced woman who was found dead in her ex-husband's indoor swimming pool. The original investigation ruled the death accidental, but new evidence suggests it was a homicide. It's also learned that the victim died during a citywide blackout and that she was terrified of the dark. In addition, the victim was a bitter woman and hated by most of her family members.

Fri Dec 11 02:00 PM TNT A homely 33-year-old woman is gunned down in an alley in 1989 and her unsolved murder is reinvestigated when a tape of the victim, made for a dating service, turns up in a suicide victim's apartment. Apparently, it was what the man was watching when he killed himself. The probe reveals the man was a con artist who dated lonely women in order to rob them of their life savings. Also, Vera moves into an apartment of his own.

Coach Roy McCormick (Lawrence) was once college basketball's top mastermind. His attention began to turn on what endorsement contracts he could secure instead of actually coaching his team. Also, Coach McCormick has a quick temper. He lets his temper get the best of him in most situations, and he is banned from coaching college basketball (again) until he can show that he can control his anger. McCormick waits for a coaching position, yet nobody calls. Eventually he receives only one offer: the Mount Vernon Junior High School is looking for somebody to coach their basketball team, the Smelters. Roy reluctantly accepts the offer, hoping that a few weeks at the school will prove his good intentions and restore him to his high-living ways as a celebrated college coach. As McCormick begins coaching the squad, he gets into a situation that he has never been in before and doesn't know what happened to him.
