The story, told to Reed by Officer Wells (Gary Crosby) in the locker room, fails to get the same hilarious response when Reed tells it to his partner, Officer Malloy (Martin Milner) and others. The cast included Nydia Westman as Alice Hoyt, fur burglary victim, Joyana (cq) as housewife Muriel Fletcher and Dean Stanton as Henry, her husband; David Westberg as Howie Hewlitt and Penny Gaston as his wife Jan, hosts to the loud party, and Donna Mantoan as Lorna, the waitress.
