The investigation reveals that the killing may be connected to the disappearance of a former cop's wife, who vanished 15 years ago. The chief suspect in that case is her husband. Apparently, the dead psychic had new information on the victim, and that may have gotten her killed.

The judge gives the prosecution 72 hours to re-examine the evidence before the jury delivers its verdict.

When Grissom confronts Lady Heather, she isn't too cooperative, but later she provides Grissom with some astonishing evidence.
