Reno saddles up to help when a friend of Bobby's is injured after uncovering a group of cattle rustlers operating through a traveling rodeo managed by Alvin Potter (LANCE LeGAULT) and his daughter, Reba Cross (LISE CUTTER). Reno is suspicious of Potter's partner, Lanny Peterman (CULLY FREDRICKSEN), a charming but violent cowboy. Reba tells Reno that Lanny threatened to harm her daughter as well as ruin her family's livelihood if Reba tries to stop Peterman's lucrative rustling business. Reno gets himself invited into Lannyls gang where he hopes to trap the rustlers in the act. But unbeknownst to him, the cowboys are planning a trap of their own.
