Henry Beckman portrays Levering, the distraught "leaper." Officer Malloy applies psychology and other techniques learned through years of police work in his efforts to dissuade Levering. The cast includes Catherine Squire as Mrs. Hess, the woman who complained of her television set being tampered with by a neighbor, and Hal Smith as Edward Brohanon, the drunk driver suspect.
