Wally Slocki, in the 1960s and 1970s, was one of the most respected names in North American Karate, along with Chuck Norris, Louis Delgado, Bill Wallace, and Ron Marchini. Sensei Slocki became known as the Canadian with the fancy kicks. As Ron Marchini says, he was the first guy with the fancy kicks that could back it up.
