On the one hand Derecq is a traditionalist when we join him he is preparing to perform the ultimate Morris Dance, the mystical and legendary Threeple Hammer Damson and yet on the other, he is pioneering an innovative and daring freeform brand of dancing Extreme Morris. Innovation and invention are frowned upon by the Morris Circle, the dark and sinister governing body of Morris dancing and following a series of warnings over their conduct, its Chief Executive, Quentin Neely, expels both Derecq and his team from the Circle thereby preventing him from completing the Threeple Hammer Damson; his life s ambition. A second trailer for IFC Film's The Disappeared which will be available On-Demand starting on July 8th on IFC Festival Direct. Do you believe in ghosts? Matthew didn't until his younger brother Tom disappeared from the city playground. Since that day Matthew has held himself responsible. When he begins to see images and hear the voice of his missing brother, Matthew begins to wonder if he is losing his mind. But as more children start disappearing, he realizes it doesn't matter what or who is real. He knows that if he continues to listen to what Tom is trying to tell him, he can uncover the truth. Could it be his alcoholic father who has done this to their family? Or the gang of uncontrollable teens who terrorize any child who gets in their way? Matthew s life is devastated after the disappearance of his younger brother, Tom. Matthew s father had left him to look after Tom and now Matthew feels responsible. His father is trying to hold back the anger and the blame but the cracks are beginning to show. One day Matthew is looking through a box of press clippings and video tapes about Tom s disappearance. Suddenly he hears a ghostly voice on one of the video tapes telling him you never came for me! . It s the voice of his missing brother. He shows the tape to his father, Jake. This time there s no voice and Jake flies into a rage as the wound is reopened. Matthew tells his best friend Simon about the voices on the tape. Is he losing his mind, is Tom alive or dead?
