The solution that Genny proposes is for Keith to kidnap her. This is achieved with relative ease, and afterwards they go to a drive-in movie. But Keith is so hung up about Genny's being "royalty" that he can't even put his arm around her. Finally, she advises him to pretend that she's just an ordinary girl. They kiss warmly until a white flash explodes in their faces.
