Call of the Wild is a modern-day story incorporating elements of Jack London's classic short novel. Christopher Lloyd stars as a recently widowed man living in Montana who takes his young granddaughter Ryann (Ariel Gade) in for several weeks while her parents are out of the country. When a wild hybrid wolf/dog shows up injured on the back porch one night, Ryann wants to take him back to Boston as a pet, but her grandfather knows the animal will eventually have to return to the wild. To help his granddaughter understand, he begins to read her Jack London's "Call of the Wild" each night ... but Ryann has ideas of her own, and helps a local boy train the magnificent animal to become a sled dog leader. Timothy Bottoms plays a dark-hearted local bully who tries to claim the dog as his own, and Wes Studi stars as a mysterious mountain man who always seems to appear on the fringe of the action.

Summoned by the Asgard, SG-1 learns that the Asgard have only a short time left to live. Their final attempt to solve the Asgard's physiological degeneration resulted in each of them developing a rapidly progressing disease leaving them only weeks to live. Fearing their knowledge might fall into the wrong hands they plan to end their lives after handing over their entire knowledge base, technology and history to SG-1. But before all the final advancements can be installed on the Odyssey the Ori drop out of hyperspace and engage the ship. As the Odyssey retreats pursued by one of the Ori ships the Asgard destroy their planet taking the other two Ori ships with them. The Odyssey, with shields nearly failing, is forced to test their new Asgard weapons and is barely able to destroy the Ori ship in time. The Ori able to constantly track the Odyssey before it has time to repair damage, send ship after ship trying to destroy it. The ability to track the Odyssey seems caused by the Asgard tech

Annie Potts, Fred Thompson and Judith Light guest-star--When Lauren Westley (guest-star Keri Lynn Pratt) is found badly beaten and taken to a New York hospital, it is discovered she's a runaway from Virginia whose father Philip Westley (guest-star Skipp Sudduth) has been in the city searching for her. Detectives discover that Westley was 24 weeks pregnant and due to her injuries, suffered a miscarriage. As the investigation unfolds Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Chris Meloni) question Wayne Meredith (guest-star John Patrick Medori) a teenager from Westley's high school who is the father of the baby. Westley and Meredith ran away to New York seeking the help from an abortion clinic. When the case goes to court, Meredith's attorney, Sophie Devere, (guest-star Annie Potts) tries to defend Meredith's actions but new evidence is introduced questioning the credibility of the abortion clinic and whether the doctor there was ultimately responsible for West's injuries.
