Bob Saget, Catherine Bell, Chris Sarandon and Bernadette Peters guest star in a case of murder and infidelity - A woman, is found dead in Central Park, and medical examiner Warner (Tamara Tunie) can find no apparent reason for her death. Det. Stabler (Chris Meloni) begins the investigation by himself, talking to the victim's husband, Wesley (Chris Sarandon), who owns a dance troupe, as his friends Glenn (Bob Saget) and Naomi Cheales (Catherine Bell) pay a condolence visit. Stabler's investigation unravels a case of drugs, infidelity and an elaborate plot that impacts everyone involved in the troupe. Attorney Stella Danquiss, who defends Glenn, is played by guest star Bernadette Peters. In this star-studded episode, Stabler also discovers Det. Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is back in town, so he pays her a visit.

When two corporate executives on the verge of changing their industries die in the same car accident, Kyle decides to have Team Knight Rider investigate. One of the men, Richard Norton (Chris Cote), had just perfected a process to coat metals with artificial diamonds, making them virtually indestructible. The other, Ronald Peters (Wesley Thompson), was about to release a device that could transmit one trillion bits of computer data per second. Both of these men created this technology while at a private think tank, but went public with their discoveries after leaving and going out on their own.

When Rush magazine founder Neil Jackman is found dead in his pool, Chris and Captain Lipschitz set out to interview the centerfold models living at the estate, starting with nineteen-year-old Marilyn Peters. But, when she offers little help, they turn to Karen, Jackman's estranged wife and Rush editor, who encourages them to look around so she can return to a photo session with centerfold Candy Hart. Then, after Chris and his boss atempt an intruder ransacking Jackman's office and discover that the porn king was seeing a sex therapist, Atticus Dunn claims to have photos of the killer. Though his pictures turn out to be too dark, Atticus notes that sex therapist Galatea was the person searching the office just ahead of them.
