(1958) Dermot Walsh, Jane Barrett, John Colicos. Similar to the THE HITCH-HIKER. A family leaves on vacation, a small trailer in tow. They soon discover a gun-wielding killer in the trailer! He holds their boy hostage and puts them through hell as they drive through police lines, heading for the coast and then the ferry to France. The climax features a terrific foot-chase near a warehouse under the fabulous cliffs of Dover. Intense, literate, well acted. Recommended. Beautiful new transfer from 16mm print.
