Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) had an epiphany about health care legislation while he attended a "luncheon" at "Enchilada's Mexican restaurant" with some senior citizens on Hilton Head island. They helped him come to the conclusion that if the Democrats in the House are so enthusiastic about passing a public option, surely they would be rushing to join said plan. And they aren't, so there must be something bad about it.However, the Congressman does not quite have his facts straight, as "Countdown" guest host Lawrence O'Donnell and Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) both point out.O'Donnell notes that members of Congress already have health care that is paid for by the government, and that the public option is for people lacking employer-provided health insurance. The team members search for Rachel (CHRISTINA HENDRICKS), an agoraphobic advice columnist who had not left her apartment in 2 years. While casing her apartment for clues, they ponder the relevance of a walkie-talkie, a box of bullets and a stack of letters from an array of prisoners and oddballs who were seeking her advice and/or threatening her. As the investigators theorize that she may have fallen prey to an obsessed fan or a recently released convict who had been calling her, they also consider the fact that, as a result of her condition, there was an endless stream of delivery and service people coming to her apartment.

As part of their awesome Chewing The Fat series, our friends at Serious Eats have this amazing clip of Anthony Bourdain and Mario Batali talking in detail about sex and food, and the relationship therein. First of all, I find Anthony Bourdain to be incredibly sexy. He;s funny, he can cook, and for the love of hotness! He ate the still-beating heart of a cobra! Now, on the OTHER hand...Batali? Not so much. His food is f*cking amazing, but let;s be honest: the man wears wet orange crocs all day long. Why are they wet? Because they;re covered in his head sweat, that;s why. So, in the beginning of the video, Bourdain starts the convo off, talking about "rolling over into the wet spot," and immediately I wonder if he is referring to the chair I;m currently sitting in. But THEN, Batali starts talking, with phrases like "there;s a couple of ways of making someone happy by putting something inside of them," and he;s bringing up images of banging somebody with an eggplant. This morning I awoke to a bunch of screaming men in my bedroom.No, that;s not the first sentence of my new suspense novel (or erotic short). It;s the truth, and the result of having my radio alarm clock set to WFNY. Shock jocks O&A held an eggnog drinking competition this morning, with the winner throwing back 75 double shots of the nog. To make things more interesting, an intern agreed to hang his head over a garbage can and let somebody throw up on his face if they felt the need. I don;t want to ruin the ending for you, but... it happens and it;s gross. And hilarious. You;ve been warned.
