It's quite a welcome party when Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) arrive in St. Louis. Officers, detectives, medics and six body bags fill the police station - now a giant crime-scene. Captain Powell (Al Sapienza) seems to think it was an accident - simply an underground gas main that ruptured and ignited, burning the bodies of suspects waiting to be processed beyond recognition, yet somehow leaving the walls barely scorched...strange. While in the basement investigating the site of the explosion, Pete's vibe tells him something else happened. What they find is the mummified remains of a man - his wrist shackled, a Secret Service metal star and a cracked Tesla in his waistband. They've found a long-dead Warehouse agent!

When Jack Varnell (ED LAUTER), an exemplary detective, is killed by a car bomb, renegade cop and bounty hunter Reno Raines comforts Varnell's widow, Sylvie (KAT SAWYER-YOUNG), vowing to avenge the murder of his respected former partner. By pressuring Varnell's current partner, Dan Rudrnan (AL SAPIENZA), and a drug dealer named Chester (ANTHONY T. MITCHELL), Reno acquires important information. The suspected killer, drug lord Hector Ortega (MIGUEL SANDOVAL), has retreated to his desert hideaway, "Chula Negra," formerly the peaceful Mexican town of "Esperanza." Reno's employer, Bobby Six Killer, offers to help Reno and together they ride off on their Harley motorcycles.
