Smulders, a star of CBS' How I Met Your Mother, gave birth to her daughter on May 16, People reports. It is the first child for Smulders and her fiancé Taran Killam.

Online Lottery Announced for Jackson's Public Memorial

An online lottery will distribute only 17,500 tickets for Michael Jackson's public memorial service at Los Angeles' Staples Center on Tuesday.

Registration for the lottery at StaplesCenter.com ends at 9 pm/ET on Saturday. Eleven thousand fans will receive a seat in the Staples Center; the remaining 6,500 will be able to watch a simulcast from the neighboring Nokia Theater, said Tim Leiweke, CEO of sports and entertainment promoter AEG.

Harve Presnell, the Golden Globe-winning actor best known for his role as William H. Macy's father-in-law in Fargo and who starred in Broadway musicals The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Annie, has died. He was 75.

The actor died Tuesday at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., after a battle with pancreatic cancer, Presnell's agent told the Associated Press.

ABC's Wipeout topped the hour with 7.8 million total viewers, up 100K week-to-week. So You Think You Can Dance's Top 14 performance show, however, led the demos, and averaged 7.65 mil over its two-hour run.

9 pm
America's Got Talent was the night's most-watched program, delivering 11.3 million viewers (up 9 percent week-to-week). Me, I'd prefer to see the Hoff drink, like, six fewer Red Bulls before each show. ABC's I Survived a Japanese Game Show (3.83 mil) dropped 350K.

10 pm
Despite having an even stronger lead-in this week, NBC's The Philanthropist (5.7 mil) plunged 23 percent from its premiere, placing a distant second behind a CSI: NY repeat (8.1 mil).

Rocky! Rocky! Fans of NCIS director Leon Vance will find the coming TV season to be twice as nice, as Rocky Carroll will pull double duty on CBS' NCIS and its spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles, TVGuide.com has learned.

Carroll was promoted to series regular status on NCIS this past season, as Vance replaced the late Jenny Shepard as director. Moving forward, the actor tells TVGuide.com, "I'll be keeping my normal routine on the 'mother ship,' and I'll be doing at least six of the first 13 episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles."

Academy Award winner Karl Malden, who starred alongside friend Marlon Brando in such classic films at A Streetcar Named Desire and On the Waterfront, and won another generation of fans with the TV show The Streets of San Francisco, has died. He was 97.

After a protracted recount, comedian-turned-politician Al Franken has won the Minnesota Senate race to give Democrats a 60-seat majority in the U.S. Senate.

Duff will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU, where her new roommate will be... Vanessa! No word on how Olivia will interact with our other favorite Bobcats (roomies Blair and Georgina and "Lonely Boy" Dan among them), but we're guessing that she will.

CBS has announced (most) of the 13 houseguests who will be competing for the $500,000 grand prize on Big Brother 11 this summer.

Host Julie Chen made the reveal on CBS' Early Show, but only introduced 12 players. The remaining mystery guest — which the blogosphere suggests will be a player from a past season — will be announced July 7, two days before the show's premiere.

• HBO's True Blood on Sunday hit a new all-time high, drawing 3.7 million total viewers. Lead-out Hung, in turn, enjoyed a premiere audience of 2.8 mil, making it the pay channel's most-watched series debut in two years (since John from Cincinnati).

• America's Got Talent was Tuesday's most-watched program with 12.9 million viewers, a 14 percent increase from its season opener.

• ABC's The Superstars scored 4 mil in its second week, dipping 340K. Lead-out Better Off Ted slipped to 1.78 mil.

• During Tuesday's 10 o'clock hour, CBS' 48 Hours Mystery special about the death of Michael Jackson was No. 1 with 8.15 mil.

Michael Jackson's Will: Mother or Diana Ross Should Care for His Children

Michael Jackson said in a 2002 will filed Wednesday that he wanted his mother, Katherine, to care for his three children in the event of his death — and that he wanted Diana Ross to raise them if his mother could not.

The will, filed in a Los Angeles court, leaves his estate to the Michael Jackson Family Trust, the details of which were not made public. But TVGuide.com has learned it includes Jackson's children, members of his family, and charities. It does not include his father, Joseph Jackson, with whom Jackson had a strained and tumultuous relationship.

The will excludes Deborah Rowe, who bore Jackson's two older children. Her attorney, Marta Almli, said Rowe had no comment.

Accounts of Michael Jackson's drug use fueled speculation Wednesday about the cause of his death, including one from his former nurse who said he opposed recreational drugs but sought a powerful drug to overcome insomnia.

Sci Fi Channel, which on July 6 will relaunch as SyFy, is developing a new take on the 1988 movie Alien Nation. Tim Minear (Angel, Firefly) will pen the series.

Previously adapted in 1989 as a short-lived Fox series (succeeded by five TV-movies), Alien Nation follows a human cop and his alien detective partner, against the backdrop of Earth's begrudging assimilation of ETs banished from their home world, where they served as slaves.
