X's & O's is a hip romantic comedy that takes a humorously genuine look at post college relationships. A circle of friends in San Francisco finds out the hard way that it's not all hugs and kisses in the game of love and that everyone needs a strategy to score. Bookish biologist Simon (Clayne Crawford - 'A Walk to Remember') lusts after Jane (Sarah Wright - 'The House Bunny'), a blonde beauty that barely knows he exists. Against the advice of his womanizing best friend, Lorenzo (Warren Christie - TV's "October Road"), Simon decides to make Jane jealous by dating his lab partner, Trese (Judy Marte -'Raising Victor Vargas'). But every part of Simon's plan falls apart, trapping him between the pursuit of a hopeless dream and unexpected, real feelings for someone. A second trailer for White on Rice. Jimmy (Hiroshi Watanabe, LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA) loves dinosaurs and sleeps on the top bunk. Unfortunately, Jimmy is 40, and shares the bunk bed with Bob, his 10-year-old nephew. Freshly divorced, Jimmy has moved in with his sister Aiko and her family while boldly searching for a new wife. His brother in-law, Tak, thinks he s a disaster. And although Jimmy may lack social grace, he is convinced the best years of his life are just beginning. His plan seems like it s all falling into place when Tak s beautiful niece Ramona moves in. Saving Face follows Wilhemina, a young Chinese-American surgeon as she deals with her unwed mother's pregnancy, and the obligations of her dancer girlfriend Vivian. Wil struggles with allocating time between her mother, who is shunned by the Chinese-American community for being pregnant and unwed and thus has come to live with Wil, and her girlfriend, Vivian, whom she presents to her mother as only a friend. At the same time, Wil's mother must decide whether the demands of her father's reputations, or the demands of her own heart, are more important.
